Worship is not a “Sunday Morning Ministry.”
Our responsibility is not to display the wonderful gifts which God has bestowed upon us on Sundays only, but is a daily life component to our walk with Jesus Christ. It is way the way we breathe a path of communication with our Lord and a display of our affection to our Lord. Every day we must renew ourselves for the exaltation of His name. Offering ourselves as living sacrifices, dying to ourselves to serve our God!
Being part of a worship team means that each member is a worship leader, not just the lead singer. Leading worship is NOT trying to get people to sing but it is worshiping God yourselves, so that others will follow your lead!!!! Instead of concentrating on leading a worship service, we focus on being a lead worshiper. Instead of concentrating on keeping your eyebrows up, hoping everyone will think you are happy and in love with Jesus. Focus your thoughts and heart on Christ.
